Dear Phillip, Joyce and Nancy,
My thoughts are with all of you as you say adieu to your wonderful Mom in her physical presence. She (and you all) were my favorite times growing up in the 19th Ward and I think of each and all of you often. Your Mom was such a happy brilliant light that I am sure she will never be too far from any of us. My love to you and my favorite quote...“When you are sorrowful look again in your heart, and you shall see that in truth you are weeping for that which has been your delight.-Kahlil Gibran

Flip,Joyce and Nancy...it is way too time consuming to list all the memories of our families! Just know that your Mom was such a friend for so long; time and tide changed our closeness, but never in my heart; stalwart is your heritage, keep it going with your families! Here's to tree climbing races! My love to you all. Coky

I am sorry that I will be unable to attend Phyllis' memorial service as I will be out of town. I send my sympathy to all of you in her family. I know that you will miss her greatly. We had some wonderful times at bridge club and were always entertained by Phyllis' stories of her experiences as a teacher.
Sincerely,
Susan Whalen

To the family and friends of Phyllis, Please accept my sincere sympathy. I am shocked and saddened by her passing. Just a few days before her death she graciously hosted a wonderful lunch for nine of us at the Cherry Ridge dining room. We had such a lovely time. I will miss her very much. May the love and support of family and friends help to ease your pain at this difficult time. Cherish the happy memories as you reflect on her life. May they bring you peace and comfort now and in the days ahead. My best wishes are with you all now and always.

To the Family of Phyllis,
Please accept our deepest sympathy on the death of your beloved mother. We hope the knowledge that she is at peace and is in a better place will comfort you. Phyllis was a "light" in the Cherry Chirpers, and my Dad - George Schum, and my family thought very highly of Phyllis.
May God Bless you.
