Obituary of Mary M. Ochs

Ochs, Mary M. Irondequoit: Passed away on September 25, 2011 at St. Ann's Home, surrounded by her family. Pre-deceased by her husband John J., her parents, Dennis and Margaret, her brothers: Thomas and Patricia, John and Dorothy, David and Joyce and Joseph, her dear cousins, Catherine and Sister M. Jeremiah Roche. She is lovingly survived by three children: Margaret Mary, Joseph (Jean) of Atlanta, GA. and Betsy (Mark) Lawless and her sisters-in-law: Helen L. Collins and Rose Mary Dorsey. She leaves six grandchildren: Lauren, Erin and Michael Ochs and John Robert, Bridget and Shannon Lawless, twelve nieces and nephews and six godchildren. Mary was a member of Blessed Kateri Parish at St. Thomas the Apostle Church for nearly sixty years, the Rochester Yacht Club and the Catholic Women's Club. Her proudest accomplishments were her family, her sense of humor, her Irish heritage and her loyalty to Notre Dame Football. Her family will receive friends Thursday 8:30 - 9:30am at the funeral home followed by her funeral mass 10:00am at Blessed Kateri at St. Margaret Mary Church. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place Building; P.O.
