You were a childhood friend, someone I grew up with, a teammate, a fellow parishioner, a classmate, and a fellow Ukrainian. We had a strong bond. We shared a lot of good times together and enjoyed life and each others company. We road the bus together, and you were there to welcome me when I joined you at McQuaid. You were always kind to me and included me in many activities that I look fondly back upon. You drove me to soccer practices and dropped me off at home. Whenever we went out, you always drove and kept us safe. I regret that our lives went in different directions after high school, and have always thought about you and wondered how your were doing. I have missed you for a long time leading up to this day, and now miss you even more. I am sorry you experienced this much pain and wish I could have taken it away somehow. May Jesus have mercy on your soul.
