Obituary of George D. Atkinson

Atkinson, George D. Irondequoit: Entered into rest on Wednesday, September 28, 2011 at the age of 91. Pre-deceased by his wife Elizabeth "Betty", son, George. Mr. Atkinson is survived by his loving daughters, Maureen(Ronald) Reardon, Ann Elizabeth(Allen) Rubin of NJ and Elaine(Thomas) Costanza, grandchildren, Daniel and Elizabeth Ann Reardon, Timothy(Gina) and Brian Zeck, Thomas, Dennis, Jennifer and Claire Costanza, brother, Terrence(Pat) McPhail and his sister, Norah D'Entremont of Ontario, Canada. He also leaves behind special friends Jack and Mary Hughes, Gwen McLaughlin, Mary Hilling and Dorothy Dwyer. His family will receive friends Sunday 1:00 - 4:00pm at the funeral home (570 Kings Hwy South). Friends are invited to meet the family Monday 10:00am at Blessed Kateri at St. Margaret Mary Church for his funeral mass. Interment Irondequoit Cemetery.
