Walkowicz, Dorothy C. (Katafiaz) Irondequoit: Surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, October 6, 2011 at the age of 90. Pre-deceased by her husband, Jerome; son, Robert. Dorothy is survived by children, Thomas (Helene) Walkowicz, Mary Ellen Walkowicz, Constance (Tom Hanney) Walkowicz, Ralph (Mari) Walkowicz, Elizabeth (Ronald) Clarizia; grandchildren, Amy(Doug) Meier, Jeff(Beth) Walkowicz, Emily Hanney, Sarah & Nathan Walkowicz; great grandson, Mason Meier. Dorothy was a loving and devoted wife, mother & grandmother as her family was her focus. We will fondly remember her homemade apple pie, chicken soup and other Polish delicacies. Her family will receive friends SUNDAY 2:00 - 6:00 PM at the funeral home (570 Kings Hwy South). Friends are invited to meet the family MONDAY 10:30 AM at ST. ANNS HOME CHAPEL for her funeral mass.
