Obituary of Victor F. Jurkiewicz

Jurkiewicz, Victor F. Rochester: Sunday, October 9, 2011 at the age of 90. Victor is survived by his sweetheart and loving wife of 67 years, Bernice, children, Linda(Tom)Didas, Kathy(Ralph)D'Antonio and Michael(Vicki)Jurkiewicz, 8 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, cousin Ken Nogaj, numerous nieces and nephews and many friends. A skilled tool-and-die maker his entire working life, he was well known as a talented and accomplished trumpet player who performed for years with local "Big" Bands. He loved his family, his country, his music, white hots and life. No prior visitation. Friends are invited to meet the family Saturday 2:00pm at Lake Avenue Baptist Church for his memorial service. Interment will be held in private.
