Irondequoit: Friday, October 14, 2011 at the age of 77. Predeceased by his brother Leo. Mike is survived by his loving wife, Mary "Cathy" Poirier, children, Claire Koenig-Poirier, Marc(Linda) Poirier, Susan(Dave) Kaffke, Denise Poirier, Elaine(Bryan) Carlson, Stephen Miller, Deborah Rittenhouse and Robert Miller, 16 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, brother, Paul(Doris) Poirier of ME, brother-in-law, Alan Finegan and sister-in-law Claire Poirier.
His family will receive friends Friday 4:00 - 7:00pm at the funeral home. Friends are invited to meet the family Saturday 11:00am at Blessed Kateri at Christ the King Church for his funeral mass. Interment Private. In lieu of flowers please direct memorial donations to the Poirier Family Education Fund, C/O Mary Poirier, PO Box 90891, Rochester, NY 14609.
