Obituary of Nellie D'Amore

(Irondequoit): Thursday, October 27, 2011 at age 90. Predeceased by her husband, Samuel and sister, Josephine; brothers, Lewis and Joseph Gaudio; brothers-in-law, Vito D'Amore & Samuel Licherdell; sisters-in-law, Mae D'Amore & Irene Gaudio; parents, Mary & Anthony Gaudio; & parents-in-law, Alfia & Lawrence D'Amore. She is survived by her son, Lawrence D'Amore & daughter-in-law, Shirley; daughter, Marlene & son-in-law, Douglas Nordquist; beloved grandchildren, Christopher & Carla D'Amore & Christina & Michael Nordquist; great-granddaughter, Morgan D'Amore; sisters-in-law, Mary D'Amore & Frances Licherdell; several nephews & special niece, Gerry (Sam) Latore. A courageous battle with cancer, Nellie is now resting with the Lord. A special thank you to her doctor, Robert Thomson and the Lifetime Hospice care staff, especially her nurse Wendy Webb, her physical therapist Anna A., and her social worker, Rosa. Per Nellie's request, there will be no calling hours. Friends are invited to meet the family THURSDAY 11:00 AM at BLESSED KATERI AT CHRIST THE KING CHURCH for her Funeral Mass.
