I last visited Dieca on Sunday, Nov. 6th to pick up and pay for the dishes she had won for me on an ebay auction. After we viewed the dishes, she asked me to sit down at her table. She recalled how she and Joe had met my mother on a plane from San Diego to Rochester in the 1980's when they were raising and selling Bluepoint Siamese kittens. This is how I came to meet Dieca and Joe when I went to purchase a kitten from them. From then on, we became good friends. Years later, they helped me greatly when I relocated to Rochester a second time after having been a caregiver to my parents in California for ten years. I shall always remember their kindness to me. I miss them.

My heart is so sad. I love your Mom. She was always the bight spot in my day, with her emails and little notes to say hello. When my nephew was born I sent her pictures of him. She said she had them saved them all in a book, he is now 9 years old and I was still sending them. I am very blessed to have been loved by her. My deepest condolences. I will always treasure the memories. Gods Blessing and love! Lauren xo
