Obituary of Joseph A. Frank

Frank, Joseph A. Irondequoit: Passed away Sunday November 20, 2011 at the age of 87 surrounded by his family. Joe was the 5th of 10 children raised on a farm on Brown Road in Irondequoit. Predeceased by parents, Joseph and Anna; brothers, Carl, Gene, Bob, Andy; sisters, Agnes Schaber, Rita Stephany, Margaret Mendick. He is survived by his devoted wife Monica of 54 years; sons, Tom(Margaret) of Fairport, Ron(Terese) of Greece; grandchildren, Mike, Chrissy, Jessica, Andrea; sister, Mary(Pat) Murphy; brother Dick(Erna) Frank and several nieces and nephews. Joe was a proud member of the Ridge-Culver Fire Department for 70 years. His passions were his family, working hard, growing vegetables, and watching his grandchildren grow. A special thanks to Grace, Chris, Betty, Jamie(Touching Hearts), Mike M., and Point Pleasant Fire Department for their caring support. His family will receive friends TUESDAY 1:00 - 3:00 & 6:00- 8:00pm at the funeral home (570 Kings Hwy South). Friends are invited to meet the family WEDNESDAY 10:00 AM at BLESSED KATERI AT ST. SALOMES CHURCH for his funeral mass. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to, Ridge-Culver Fire Association, 2960 Culver Road, Rochester, NY 14622.
