Irondequoit: Thursday, November 24, 2011 at the age of 75. Jim is survived by his loving
wife of 50 years, Ebeth Merkel, children, Leeanne(Paul)Andrews, Kevin(Molly) and Keith(Christine)Merkel, grandchildren, Britainny Andrews, Mackenzie, Ella, AJ and Evan Merkel, uncle, Gordon(Rita)Merkel, cousins, Dottie(Mark) Cascino, Kathy Siegl, Phyllis Laske, Michael(Kathy)Singleton, Annie McIntyre.
His family will receive friends Friday 7:00 - 8:00pm at the funeral home where his memorial service will follow at 8:00pm. Interment will be held in private. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be directed to American Lung Association, 1595 Elmwood Avenue, Rochester, NY 14620 or Humane Society at Lollypop Farm, 99 Victor Rd., Fairport, NY 14450
