Obituary of Ofelia B. Nieves

Nieves, Ofelia (Bentancourt) Irondequoit: Died peacefully at home surrounded by her family on Sunday, January 22, 2012. She was born November 11, 1923 in Catano, Puerto Rico. Predeceased by her mother Dolores Trujillo and her father Ignacio Betancourt. Mrs. Nieves is survived by her daughter, Dolores (John) Gonzalez-Habes, son, Jesus R. (Sharon) Gonzalez, grandchildren, Juan D. Habes, Gabriel J. Gonzalez and Ashley A. Pagan, brothers, Ignacio (Rafaela) Bentancourt and Rafael (Aida) Betancourt, many loving nieces, nephews and cousins from the Trujillo and Betancourt families. Her family will receive friends Thursday 4:00 - 7:00pm at the funeral home, (570 Kings Hwy South), where her funeral service will follow at 7:00pm. Interment will be held in private.
