Platania, Harriet
Rochester; Tuesday, February 14, 2012. In her 100 years on earth. Pre-deceased by her loving husband, Anthony; son, Robert (Babe); grandson, Robert (Bobby) Platania. She is survived by her sons, Salvatore (Sam) (Ann Marie) and Richard (Maria) Platania; daughters, Ann (George) Backus and Carol (Platania) (John) Lathron; daughter-in-law, Jerry Levitt; 10 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, 1 great great grandchild. After raising her children, Harriet began a new career, Business Women! She loved the beauty business and loved the people. She will be greatly missed.
Her family will receive friends Thursday 4-7 PM at the funeral home (570 Kings Hwy South). Friends are invited to meet the family Friday 10:30 AM at Blessed Kateri at St. Cecilia Church for her funeral mass. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. A special Thank You to the Staff at St. Johns Home, South 4 angels and the Aids, Nurses and Staff at Lifetime Care/Hospice.
