Dave made me laugh. My very special memories of him will be with me forever. The date of his passing is poignant too. Rest in peace, Dave.

Today I was thinking about "Uncle David" and missing him. He was so genuine and kind to me. Mom has so many memories and stories about him, my Uncle John and "Uncle Frank". She talks about how much fun they had playing football, cleaning at conventions, or dating girls. I pray for the day the three will be together again having fun and good laughs, and praise God together again.

I am so sad to hear this news. I know how much the friendship my dad and "uncle Dave" impacted so many. They provided many laughs from what I remember from all the stories. May we all keep laughing.

I met David about 30 years ago when he and Mary Beth got married. We have been friends ever since. I remember times when Dave and I would cook up batches of chicken wings at his camp grounds. We used to play 4 handed pinochle, and sometimes euchre. When I retired in 2001 I started to spend winters in Arizona. I was thrilled when David and Mary Beth also moved here for the winters. David was a lot of fun, and he dished out a lot of BS which made him even funnier. I am going to miss him very much..

I was sad to read this today. I remember Dave Rogers and how kind he always was to me. I spent a lot of time in his presence in my youth. Usually at his Aunt Jo and Uncle Sam's house playing cards, drinking coffee and eating her home made pizza. My deepest sympathies to all who loved him. He was a good guy! Sincerely, Lindy Kruze
