Kuzel, Jerry (Kuzil, Yaroslav) Rochester: Entered into eternal life on Monday, February 27, 2012 at the age of 87. He is survived by his loving family; wife of 53 years, Zenia; children, Andrew, Christina(Steve) Staveski, Orysia Burds; grandchildren, Adam & Sonia Staveski, Ivanna, Mark, Peter Burds; sister-in-law, Maria(Bohdan) Cholach, Larissa(Andrij) Charambura; brother-in-law, Taras(Barbara) Hubka; many nieces & nephews, also family in Ukraine. Yaroslav "Slavko" spent many years working with youth in CYM, advancing their knowledge of their Ukrainian heritage and instilling in them pride in their culture. He was a talented dancer, choreographer and teacher who passed this legacy onto his students, thus ensuring continuity of Ukrainian culture onto future generations in the Rochester community. No prior calling. Friends are invited to meet the family SATURDAY 10:30am at UKRAINIAN CATHOLIC CHURCH OF EPIPHANY for his Divine Liturgy. Interment Holy Sepulchre. No flowers please. Memorials may be directed to Ukrainian Arts Foundation of Greater Rochester (UAFGR) acct # 1026628-000 or Ukrainian Church of Epiphany (Dome Fund) acct # 102035-000.
