Moll, Richard A.
Irondequoit. Monday, March 2, 2009 at the age of 89. Predeceased by his sister and brother-in-law Dorothy and Tom Schenk, and his brother and sister-in-law Walter and Carolyn Moll. He is survived by his beloved wife of 62 years, Helen Habes Moll; children, Richard (Donna) and Jaclyn Moll, Christine (Robert) Alexander; grandchildren, David (Rachel), Nicholas and Eric Moll, Margaret (Matthew) Louderback and Katherine Alexander; brother, Donald (Dolores) Moll, many nieces, nephews and dear friends.
Richard graduated from St. Salome's School, Benjamin Franklin High School, and the Mechanics Institute (RIT). Richard was a WWII Veteran. He was a Technical Sergeant First-Class with the 8th Air Force. He served most of that time attached to a B-24 Unit in England. After the war he returned to Kodak where he worked until he retired in 1983. Richard was an avid photographer, and also enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, boating and camping. He was a loving husband, brother, father and grandfather and will be missed by all who loved him. The family is very grateful to the kind medical staff at Rochester General Hospital, especially those in the MICU/CCU Unit for their loving care and support.
His family will receive friends Thursday 4-8 pm at the funeral home. Friends are invited to meet the family Friday 10:00am at St. Salome's Church for his Funeral Mass. Interment Irondequoit Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to St. Salome's Church, 4282 Culver Road, Rochester, NY 14622 in Richard's memory.
