Obituary of Basyl Dmytryszyn

Dmytryszyn, Basyl Greece: Passed away peacefully after a brief illness on Friday, April 6 2012, his 88th birthday. Predeceased by his first wife, Maria. Basyl is survived by his wife, Fay, children Stefan (Dale) Damon, Lesia (Michael) Hrycelak, grandchildren Michael G. Hrycelak, M.D., Steven W. Hrycelak, Eric (Maureen) Damon, Stacey Pagliocca, Robert Damon and their children. Also survived by stepdaughter Eve (Walter) Monoenko, grandsons Andrei and Joseph Monoenko, stepchildren Stephanie (Roman) Diaczenko, Irene (predeceased by Jerry) Surowy, Mary (Bob) Matyjczuk, several additional grandchildren and great-grandchildren. His family will receive friends Tuesday 4:00 - 7:00pm at the funeral home, 570 Kings Hwy. South (Panachyda 7pm). Friends are invited to meet the family Wednesday10:00am at St. Josaphat's Ukrainian Catholic Church for his Divine Liturgy. Interment Thursday 11:00am St. Anthony's Cemetery, Nanuet NY.
