Dear Mr. Hummel, Jackie, Debbie, Bobbie, Charlie and families: I'm so very sorry about Mrs. Hummel. It seems just like yesterday that we were all hanging out on the porch on Norton Street after school at St. Michael's or picking Jackie up for the weekend to come stay with us. Time has gone by much to quickly and I was quickly reminded how close we all were. The Long Family and the Hummel's will always be "Family". I wish I had seen more of your Mom over the past several years. She always had that beautiful smile and I always felt welcomed whereever she was. I guess when God seperates us by year's he reunites us with fond and wonderful memories of the times we did share. I suspect, Mrs. Hummel has already checked out the great Alter in Heaven and is already on the schedule to clean it for the Lord. My Dad is there with her because he will always be an altar-boy at heart and serviing the Lord along with your Mom! God Bless each of you during this time and all the days to come when your memories take you to the place in your heart's where Mrs. "Ann" Hummel smiles that wonderful smile!
