Obituary of Florence Eachus

Florence Eachus Irondequoit; April 29, 2012 at age 66 surrounded by her friends and family, after a short but brave battle with cancer. A private interment service was held this week. Florence was born in Liverpool, England in 1945. She emigrated to Vancouver, Canada with her husband, Raymond, in 1969 and moved to Rochester, New York in 1970. She worked for over 30 years at Eastman Kodak before moving to Carestream Health in 2007. At Carestream, Florence was the US&C Material Master Data Information Steward. Her dedication and cheerful willingness to help others were remarkable. She will truly be missed by her many colleagues around the world. Florence enjoyed travel, gardening, literature and animals of all kinds. She was an ardent and dedicated supporter of wildlife and animal protection causes including, among others, the Humane Society of Greater Rochester.
