Obituary of Marilyn Stanwick

Stanwick, Marilyn (Giannavola) Penfield: Marilyn ended her life journey on Saturday June 9, 2012 at the age of 68. Pre-deceased by her parents, Michael and Mary Giannavola, sister, Angela Curran and beloved husband, Robert Stanwick. She is survived by her aunt, Rose Cortese; nieces, Marilyn (Frederick) Ferguson and Diana Chapin; nephews, Brian (Rose) Godfrey and Michael (Marcy) Chapin; step children, Sharon Stanwick, Kim (Joseph) Pas; 5 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren; cousin, Carolyn D'Angelo, friends, Joan (Gene) Presicci. Marilyn was a graduate of St. Marys' Hospital School of Nursing. She retired from the Monroe County Sheriffs Dept, after 28 years where she supervised the medical dept. A special thank you to the Wilmont Cancer Center and all the volunteers at the Shepherd Home. Her family will receive friends Friday 2-4 & 7-9PM at the funeral home (570 Kings Hwy South). Friends are invited to meet the family Saturday 11:00 am at Holy Spirit Church for her Funeral Mass. Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
