Hi Thelma and kids. I'm sure that you know how sad Dick's passing leaves me and lots of others feel. Dick was one of my oldest and best friends and will surely be remembered by me. For the past two days I have been remembering the many good times that we had from the tuesday nightsn at the laudromat, golf, laughs the Christmas parties, and lots more. He was a good man and it was my priveledge to know him. I am not sure whether or not I can get to the viewing or service because my health is not all that geat and the long drive back and forth really is more than I should undertake. You know that if I don't make it it will not be because I don't want to. I will call you in the middle of the week and we can talk. My wishes are with you and the kids. Bud
