Obituary of John William Shevlin

Shevlin, Sr., John W. Irondequoit: Saturday January 26, 2013, at the age of 87, John passed away peacefully with his family by his side. A proud WW II Veteran, John is Pre-deceased by the love of his life, his wife, "Mary Murphy" Shevlin. Survived by his children, Rev. Linda Shevlin, Colleen (Mike) LoVullo, Jack (Chris) Shevlin and Richard (Lauri) Shevlin; grandchildren, Justin & Kelly LoVullo, Samantha & Lindsay Shevlin; great grandson, Lane Bevilacqua, sister, Betty Zobel, brother, Tom Shevlin, sister-in-law, Irene Shevlin, sister & brother-in-law, Louise (Frank) Piehler, many nieces and nephews. "He will live on in our hearts forever". His family will receive friends Tuesday 4:00 - 8:00 pm at the funeral home. Friends are invited to meet the family Wednesday 10:30am at St Kateri at St. Cecilia Church for his Funeral Mass. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
