Elkins, Bertha E. Penfield/Rochester: Friday, December 4, 2009 at the age of 86. Pre-deceased by her husband, James. She is survived by her children, Richard(Mary), Dorothy(Milton) Hefner, James(Tammy) Elkins; grandchildren, Tammie(Doug) VanDetta, David(Donna), Laurie, John(Azy), Sean, Danny, Jennifer Hefner, Joseph(Tiffany) Elkins; sister, Ethel Wright, several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Her family will receive friends MONDAY 4-8 pm at the funeral home. Friends are invited to meet the family TUESDAY 11:30 AM at ST. JOSEPHS CHURCH for her funeral mass. Interment White Haven Memorial Park. Memorials may be directed to National Kidney Foundation, 15 Prince Street, Rochester, NY 14607
