My parents were friends with Bob and Joyce through Summerville church... They got particularly close to my father Joe over the last five years of his life as they had so many similar interests...when he became ill Bob and Joyce were just wonderful and supportive friends bringing meals and just stopping to chat and share stories...in the ten years since my dad passed I tried to continue our friendship as I knew he would want me to do calling them every several weeks and sending notes back and forth... They were an amazing testament to what marriage is and family that was so important to them. I will miss Joyce very much and know that Bob will be comforted in the many wonderful memories he had of her... Fly with the angels Joyce because there's no doubt that you are up in heaven...
