Obituary of Dwight B. Hill

Dwight Braman Hill, K2KWK
August 5, 2020 at age 82. He is recently predeceased by his wife of 54 years, Ann Linscott Hill. He is survived by his daughter, Carrie Hill Allen; son-in-law, Ted Allen; grandson, Charlie; and granddaughter, Kelsey, all of Bethesda, MD; his sister, Nancy Selover, of Turner Falls, MA, and many extended family members and friends.
A native of Pittsford and long-time resident of Irondequoit, Dwight was a graduate of St. Lawrence University. He worked for RF Communications until he retired due to illness. He was an active amateur ham radio operator, delivering weekly bulletins to the Rochester community and once even spoke with the King of Jordan over the air. He also loved to ski and sail.
Calling hours will be from 11-1 on August 15, 2020 at Harris Funeral Home in Irondequoit. At the family's request, face masks will be required. Upon arriving at the building, everyone will be required to use hand sanitizer. Those wishing to share a condolence may do so at www.harrisfuneralhome.com. A graveside service will be held for his immediate family. Donations in lieu of flowers may be made to the Rochester area Crohn's and Colitis Foundation.
