Beloved husband of 64 years to Grace (Maloney) Fox; devoted father to daughters, Carla Michele Fox (Sean); Kimberly Ann (Walter) Villard; Seana Marie Pantojas; and proud "Papa" to his grandchildren, Taylor Breann Villard (John); Alyssia Grace Pantojas (Maxwell) and Nicolas John Pantojas. Jack was born and raised in Cortland, NY; upon graduation he enlisted in the US Navy and served aboard the Battleship Wisconsin BB-64, traveling the world. A loyal and dedicated navy veteran, he was a longtime Board Member and Treasurer of the U.S.S. Wisconsin Association.

He relocated and settled in Rochester after marrying his high school sweetheart and graduating from RIT. He was a successful business owner who enjoyed his years as a Manufacturers Rep visiting new places and meeting new people. An avid golfer throughout his life, upon retirement he was able to commit more time and energy to the sport he loved. He was past President of the Rochester District Golf Association (RDGA) and a member of Durand Eastman Golf Club. In recognition of his unwavering support, mentoring and as a tireless volunteer over the years, Jack was the consummate ambassador of sportsmanship and was classified as a true "Gentleman of Golf" - a distinction for which he was honored by his peers.
