Obituary of James T. Kelly

Irondequoit: Suddenly on Tuesday, January 26, 2021 at the age of 65. A lifelong resident of Rochester, NY, Jim was predeceased by his mother Marie Mueller. He is survived by his children Stephanie (Roberto), Geoffrey, and their mother Kristen; siblings Mary Pat (Frank) Pasenello, John (Mary) Kelly, and their families.

Jim was a graduate of Bishop Kearney High School and Niagara University. Recently retired, he enjoyed a career of over 35 years as a sales engineer in the Rochester and Buffalo area, finishing his career with RS Automation in Albion, NY.

Jim was an enthusiast of sports and fitness, and was a member of the YMCA of Greater Rochester for many years. He appreciated a good meal, and enjoyed trying new recipes and cooking for large groups of family and friends. Jim had a soft spot for animals and adored his many pet cats over the years, especially his latest cat Longboy. Jim will be remembered for his warm personality and sense of humor, and will be greatly missed by his many friends and family.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Lollypop Farm in Jim's name.
