Well this is not what I wanted to do But like I told Barb, this maybe a lol memory. However after thinking about it it maybe THANK GOD memory.
When any time John an Barb names come up in conversation the first thing that pops into my head is this memory, It was a nice summer day at my Aunt an Uncle's Cottage. John and Barb were part of the family and would come out to the cottage on wk ends when the family were there. Now when I say family I mean a mess of Aunts, Uncles, and cousins. Seems this one afternoon the teenagers, John an Barb were driving home, John decided he was an Indies race drive.
We got a call telling us that they had been in a bad accident, only lol part of this maybe that it happened in front of a judges house. By some miracle, angels with them, and the grace of God, they were alright. Bang up and bruised, but married and had a good life.
So even though there are memories, this is the one that like I said even to this day will pop up in my head now and then. He will be missed, but I think my brother will miss him the most as they were best friends (well maybe co-trouble makers) during their teen years and stayed best friends till the day John passed.
