I knew Dick for many years, we both served in the US Coast Guard during the Korean Conflict. He was my best man at my first marriage . Have many fond memories of him and will miss him. Andrew W. Ricchueto ":HAMBONE" .

I was assigned to Unit B as my first assignment out of the police academy. "DaHair" always made time for everyone, and, as far as I can remember (this was a LOT of time (decades) ago) Dick never had a bad day. Always had a smile on his face and always had time for the "rookies". Even in those days of big hair, Dick had a lot of hair. I will miss Dick, ever the nice guy and always a gentleman, my condolences to the family and hey, thanks for the memories Dick! Gary Birkahn, RPD - Retired.
