So sorry to hear about Tom. He made my day when he was on the radio. That sense of humor was everything to us listeners. I also became friends through Stone Ridge Animal Hospital where he brought his beloved Teddy. We bonded over Teddy and he would call me at home to keep me updated on what was going on with Teddy. We had many good laughs and loved to joke around. I will miss him, his humor, and smile and also Teddy. My condolences to all his family and friends. He was one of a kind.
I worked with Tom at WBBF. We were friends back then and ran into each other over the decades on occasion. Tom never changed. His cordial fun manner and infectious laugh will always be remembered. I send my sincerest sympathy to his family and close friends and his pet family.
Tom was a big guy with a big voice. Every hockey fan knew it whenever the Amerks scored a goal. “GOOOOOOAL!” Tom roared into the microphone of the public address system. Fans at the War Memorial roared in return. The two were like family. His laugh was just as loud. And it made you laugh. I miss him.
