Thomas J. George

Rochester: Friday, January 14, 2022 at the age of 75. Predeceased by his parents, Walter and Helen George. Tom is survived by his brother, David (Tania) George; nephew, David (Dawn) George; niece, Lisa (David) Rhoads; several great nieces and nephews and great grand niece. Tom also leaves behind his two angels on earth, Melissa and Teddy.

Tom had one of the most recognizable voices on the Rochester Radio, which was an occupation that he loved and excelled at.

From the old days on AM WBBF to co-hosting on The Morning Break on Channel 13 and later on, The WBEE. His was the voice you heard at the Amerks arena, to the traffic reports up and down the dial. Always a joke, always a pro.

He loved his model train collection which he proudly shared on Channel 13 each Christmas. His love of family and friends and animals always came first.

Tom's Memorial Mass will be held Tuesday, January 25, 9:30 AM at Holy Apostles Church. Interment Private Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to GRASP, P.O. Box 26741, Rochester, NY 14626.
