I got to know Bonnie when I joined DUPC in 2012. Her kindness and fierce activism are an inspiration. During her fight against cancer, her determination and humor inspired us all, especially the song she wrote, “Not Dead Yet.” I wish I had a copy. Defiant and hilarious! We miss you, Bonnie!

So sad to learn this today. I remember Bonnie from the early days at MCC. I was at many reunion gatherings, but not the ones Bonnie attended. Though I knew of her health struggles and regularly prayed for her healing. She was a amazing person! She climbed many a mountain with hope and dignity. So very sad to hear about Bonnie's passing. We knew her from Monroe Community College. She was present at many of our MCC reunion gatherings, and we met her sister at those same events. Bonnie was a true humanitarian and was especially proud of the accomplishments of her children. That being said, how wonderful the woman who grew to love beyond immediate family and have energy and heart to extend to her charity, water for the Sudan. We never knew she climbed a mountain...and hope she is climbing it still to God's loving embrace. Proud to have known her. Joanne and Tony Ventura

This is her sister Dale! Thank you! She loved going to the MCC events! I met my husband there. We graduated in 1968.
