Obituary of Irene H. Watson

Watson, Irene H. Irondequoit: Died April 22, 2022 after a long and hard-fought battle with Parkinson's disease. Irene was a shining example of determination, resiliency and strength. Predeceased by her parents Joseph and Helen Guzik, brothers, Leo (Maxine) and John Guzik, sister Wanda Saltrelli and granddaughter Ashley Palmiere. She leaves behind three daughters, Janet Watson, who was her caregiver as well, Beverly Orlando and Carol (Norman) Palmiere, grandchildren, Matthew, Brandon, Marisa Orlando and Andrew Palmiere, two great grandchildren Jack and Liam Orlando. Also survived by longtime friend Eleanor Najder and many beloved nieces and nephews. Irene was a loving, patient and kind person with a keen sense of humor and will be greatly missed. Services will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Humane Society at Lollypop Farm, 99 Victor Rd., Fairport, NY 14450.
