John, Joanna and family, We honor Chris for her strength and courage, and for being the inspiration that began our charitable organization that has given so much to Rochester local children's charities. John,sorry to read about your loss .I know you were with her 100 % and she is now at peace . I recall talking with you on your trips to Lisa's many moons ago . It was always enjoyable talking with you about the "good old AQ days"Jim was in my class and we always had a laugh or two. My sympathy to you and your family .

To the entire Welch family, we were only a few who had the pleasure of knowing Chris for the past 22 years. Her love of her family and her fierce stoic nature always presented itself with such pride and strength. Despite her lifelong battle, she defied the odds and lived a long, full life which is something to be proud of. She was a warrior who never let her disease define her as a wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend. Her legacy is set for all to carry on and continue to advocate for the those still affected with by such diseases. We were blessed to have witnessed her indisputable grace and warm nature throughout the years. Sincere condolences for a life gone but never forgotten. George, Angela, and Sam Gitsis

Dear Eileen, Kathy, Joey, Marty, and Mr. Welch, I have so many fond memories of her, and the wonderful friendships I shared with all of you growing up. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your families. It will take time and grieving to accept her not physically being with you, but in spirit she is watching all of you in heaven. What a wonderful mother, woman, and wife she was and will be greatly missed. My last memory Joey is when you and your mom stopped over as I was in the yard at my dad's house.
