Sending you all our love. Uncle John was someone I would see on holidays in Ireland as a child when he was so much fun, patient and kind. I met him again when I was 21 and his humour was what impressed me most then. He left a feeling of warmth, love and kindness that has stayed with me all of my life and comes to mind every time his name is mentioned. He was so kind to take time to telephone when our Mum, his sister-in-law, passed away. I met him on far too few few occasions - I wish it could have been more. He was a very rare and special person and the love you all have for each other shines through. My goodness - how he was loved.

i met John when we were both freshmen at St. John Fisher University. We became close friends and remained so for the rest of our lives. Great sense of humor and a true gentleman and family man. I will miss him.
