Obituary of John Edward Feeley

John E. Feeley of Rochester, NY passed away on Wednesday, December 21, 2022.  John was Pre-deceased by his loving wife, Elizabeth (Walsh) Feeley, daughter, Ann Marie "Rooney" Feeley and brother, James (Marilyn) Feeley.  Mr. Feeley is survived by his son, Jim (Zendi) Feeley, daughter, Siobhain (Benjamin) Goss.  Grandchildren, Patrick Kemblowski, Lauren Kemblowski, Aine Pagano, Michael Feeley,Liam Feeley and Katy Feeley, numerous relative in the US, Ireland, England and Australia.

John graduated from Aquinas Institute and then received his bachelor’s degree from St. John Fisher University.  John proudly served his country in the US Army during the Korean War.  In his free time, John was an avid reader and Devout Catholic who loved his faith, and always cherished the time he spent with his family.

 Friends are invited to join the family on Thursday, December 29, from 4 to 7PM at the funeral home (570 Kings Highway So.).  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, December 30 at 10AM at St. Margaret Mary’s Church. Our Dear Papa peacefully joined Mom, Rooney and beloved family in heaven yesterday evening.  He was our North Star, our Rock, and our example of how to lead a life of humility, generosity of heart, and family above all.  Our gentle giant is gone but his love will last forever.
