Schiefen, Rita A. of Rochester passed away on Wednesday, June 21, 2023 surrounded by her loving family. Rita was predeceased by Ron Schiefen, her parents, Raymond and Theresa Brent, sister, Arlene Fanale. Rita is survived by her daughters, Barb Scott, Kate (Rosanne Homzie) Schiefen, and Linda (Wil) Johnson. Grandchildren, Kate (Brian) Menz, Steve (Ryan) Scott, Meg (Steve) Will, Kelly Johnson and Erik (Diana) Johnson. 18 Great Grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Lifelong friend, Sr. Clare Brown.

Friends are invited to join the family on Wednesday, June 28, from 4 to 7PM at the funeral home (570 Kings Highway So.). Friends are invited to meet the family on Thursday, June 29 at 1:30PM St. Kateri At Christ The King Church for Rita's mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to Sisters of St. Joseph, 150 French Road, Rochester, NY 14618-3822 in Rita's memory.
