I was so saddened to see this - I was a client of Nan's in West Hollywood many years ago. It is not overstating things to say that she saved my life. What a loss for all who knew her.

We were so saddened to see Nancy's obituary in the paper this morning. My husband, Bill, and I were in the IHS class of 1965 and Nancy was dating a good friend of ours and we palled around. While the guys were teaching swimming in New Jersey during the summer, Nancy would drive her green Triumph over to my house and we would place a phone call to the guys. We went out together as couples a few times and then lost touch when all of us went off to college. I will always remember how pretty, smart and funny she was and are not surprised to read about her dedication to her field of study. You all have our deepest sympathy but know you have fond memories which will help ease your pain in the months and years to come. Bill and Peggy (Crowley) Clutz

Nan A wonderful person who enjoyed life to the fullest. She taught me never to say no to a challenge. She was A determined woman strong minded with a good spirit. Willing to help and give and she would say “well prima we are social workers that’s why we feel the need to help.” “that’s why we are here for”
