I remember very well all the time we spent in the garage. Sometimes with Mark, sometimes just with Papa. He loved his cigars, his tools, his El Camino, and us. I remember very well all the thanksgiving dinners, delicious apple pies, and gross raw meat he used to eat. I can still hear his voice calling me “Tom” or “kid”. I can still smell the house thinking back on the memories. Christmases with everyone. The freezing cold back patio. His favorite chair.
Love you Papa Joe,
Tom

Joe and I go back a long way--and since I am nw 85--that means many years ago when we first met. I lived in the other half of the house on Milburn/Bershire Sts., and Joe had to rescue me from bat and squirrel invasions and other city living delights. We were alwaysremained good friends, through all the ups and downs of our lives. He was so fortunate to have Judy and his kids in his life. He was a caring and fun-filled person, and I will miss him.

Joe,
you've been deeply missed since you moved from Ramsey Park. I expect there are lots of puppies excited to know you have arrived at heavens dog park. The pups will be greeting you with wagging tails and thanking you for all the treats. RIP until we all meet again.

Joe was always there for me growing up. He was a better like a step father to me. He always made sure mom had enough to get by. My father left us when I was 11 years old. Joe was there after that. I wish I could have seen him one more time to say go bye. He is in a better place now. Him and my mother are in heaven having coffee and talking about old times. You will always be in my heart. You are a great man and will be missed

Joe was the man who taught me how to work on cars, gave me my first driving lesson in his 65 El Camino 3 speed on the column. He also got me into riding motorcycles which I still do today. Joe was truly one of the good people on this earth with a big heart. He will be missed, but never forgotten.
