Rita and Stacy, I was sad to hear of Kevin’s passing. Norm and I always enjoyed his yearly boat inspection and of course the legendary River Rat parties. He certainly lived life to the fullest.

I have many memories of Kevin. He was a good friend of my husband back in teenage times. I remember him and Rita dating. So many good memories and everyone is right he always had a bright smile, He is joining my husband and I can only imagine what there are doing. My sincere sympathy to Rita, Stacy, and family. Love to all.

Kevin will be sadly missed by all his friends at the Irondequoit Bay Fish&Game Club. He helped in so many ways to make events at the club more enjoyable. His ideas and service to the club is respected by all. He often volunteered to do boat inspections and give boating advice. He was friendly, kind, intelligent and always interesting. Our thoughts go out to his wife Rita and his extended family. Rest In Peace Kevin! We love you!

If there's one word that could describe Kevin, it's "GREGARIOUS", which means "liking to be with other people", and, "tending to associate with others of one's kind", according to Webster's and Cambridge"s dictionaries. In other words, Kevin was a Social Butterfly, which probably partially explains why he very often wore flowered, Hawaiian shirts, ostensibly to attract other social butterflies. Of course he didn't need the shirts for that because his wit, humor and passion for serving people made him the fun-to-be-with guy who we all loved and respected. I'm gonna miss you, Kevin, but I'll think of you every time I put on my Hawaiian shirts!

Rita:
So sorry for your loss. I remember Kevin in so many ways - at our house on Bernard St where he and my brother Roger chatted words of wisdom at the kitchen table over a cold beer. He always told me to change the oil in my car every 3K miles and it would run forever. Those were the days he drove the white? Pontiac convertible with the manikin female legs sticking up in the back seat! I also remember stopping by the store you had off Ridge Rd/Lake Ave (over 30 years ago!) just to have a chat and check-in.
He was one of a kind and we’ll miss him. I hope you and Stacy will find comfort in your memories and keep him close to your heart.
