Obituary of Kevin G. Parks
Kevin passed away on June 29th after a short battle with Glioblastoma brain cancer. Kevin is survived by his wife of 47 years, Rita, his daughter Stacy (Stephen) Albahari, grandson Dillon, sister Barbara Parks, brother-in-law Edward (Anna) Punch, his little Golden Doodle buddy Mishko, Aunt Elaine Luciano plus many cousins and wonderful friends.
Kevin had a passion for Boats, whether cruising on one or fixing one you could always find Kevin around boats. When he was not around boats you would find him having a nice cold beer at one of our wonderful waterfront establishments.
Kevin was a member of many organizations. He was a "friends" of the Antique Boat Museum in Clayton, NY where he spent much time each summer. He was also a member of the Irondequoit Bay Fish and Game Club, the Rochester Sail and Power Squadron, The NRA, Sons of the American Legion Irondequoit post 134, and the Rochester Rifle Club.
A special thank you to the caring staff at Unity Hospital who were there for Kevin around the clock for 20 days.
His family will receive friends Sunday, July 7, 1:00 - 4:00 pm at the funeral home (570 Kings Highway So.). In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to The Antique Boat Museum, 750 Mary Street, Clayton, NY 13624 in Kevin's memory.
