In my 50 years of time spent in Henderson Harbour Mr. McGraw and family were pillars of the tight knit community. As I mourn the passing of this good man, husband and father, I take comfort in knowing he's with his beloved wife, and grandson again. Thank you Mr. McGraw for all the memories and good times. The sunsets will be a little more beautiful at the lake you loved so much. May your spirit be eternal.

Mary Ellen & family:
Please accept my sincere condolences at this time of loss.
Bob and I worked on the 'Accreditation Project' for a variety of technical training programs at the plant. He was a true professional, a wealth of technical information, a gentleman, and a consummate story-teller; he had a funny or insightful story for every occasion (a trait perhaps shared by others named Bob ...)
He cared about his work, and more so, he cared about the people he worked with. I remember Bob as a gentle and kind man, a dedicated coworker, who was tremendously proud of his family. Seems to me that Bob passed those qualities on to his progeny. We are better for having known him, and he will be missed.

Bob was one of the first engineers that I had the opportunity to work with during my time at Ginna and RG&E. Always quick with a joke and a lesson.
For all of us that had the opportunity to work with and know him, Bob will be remembered for many laughs and great memories...
Please accept my condolences for your loss.

After Bob sold his Lyman boat and bought his Grady-White, he called me to visit Henderson Harbor for a quiet boat ride to a waterfront lunch. After the lunch, it started to rain lightly. Our wives didn't want to get wet, so they retreated to the cottage. Bob maneuvered the boat carefully out under the local bridge. He then asked me to drive the new boat out in the three-foot waves of Lake Ontario. He said I want to see what a 200 horsepower Evinrude outboard could do. I obliged and we actually went airborne a few times hitting the waves and swells perpendicularly at full speed. I was nervous so I asked if I should slow down. He answered I am 75 years old and have been coming to Henderson Harbor since I was seven, the boat and engine are under warranty and I can't do this with Elaine in the boat, so don't tell her.

I am deeply sorry for your loss. Uncle Bob was a truly special person, while our families didn't live close by, I feel fortunate to have had the privilege of visiting the camp and spending holidays together during my childhood. I will always cherish the memories our families shared. May Uncle Bob rest in peace and may you find comfort in knowing your parents have been reunited. Sending prayers and love to MaryEllen, Rich and Bobby.
With my deepest sympathy,
Susie
