Obituary of Eugene P. LaBue

Thursday, November 28, 2024 at the age of 94. Eugene is predeceased by his parents, Vincenzo and Josephine (Costanzo) LaBue; children, Laura Anne and Thomas Edward LaBue; siblings, Anthony, Samuel, Mary and Lewis, who was a Silver Star recipient killed in action in the Philippines during WWII. Eugene is survived by his loving and dedicated wife of 62 years, Joan; brother, James LaBue along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.

Eugene was in the U.S. Marine Corp and served the nation honorably in the 1950's. He was an Attorney in Rochester for 62 years. He graduated from Syracuse University Law School. Eugene was in private practice of law and also served as Deputy Monroe County Attorney for many years. He was a member of Locust Hill Country Club, playing and traveling extensively with the "Doovers". Eugene was a true gentleman all his life, dedicated to his family and friends and was always there to help someone in need.

The family wants to extend great thanks and appreciation to the staff at Webster Comfort Care for their outstanding care, love and warmth given to Gene while he was in  residence.

His family will receive friends Wednesday, December 4, 4-7pm at the funeral home (570 Kings Highway So.). Friends are invited to meet the family Thursday, December 5, 10:00 am at Holy Spirit Church for his Funeral Mass. Interment White Haven Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Webster Comfort Care , 700 Holt Road, Webster, NY 14580.
