Jan and Frank were on our trip to China in 1986. On the way back, we stopped in Hong Kong for a day. As we were approaching the old airport in Hong Kong, we had to fly between high rise buildings in the center of the city to make the landing. Jan was sitting on my left, and she grabbed my hand and said we were going to crash! I had to reassure her that we were just flying between buidings, making the approach to the airport!!!
Frank, Ann and Family, please accept my sincere expression of deepest sympathy in your great loss.
Fondest regards,
Ken Donmoyer

I worked with Jan at #52 School for many years and she was also both of our son's kdg. teacher. I'm still at #52 and I call home there the little room off of her studen'ts coatroom. The memories there abound! She was a wonderful teacher and loving soul.

Janice was my nursery school teacher some 62 years ago! And as newleyweds, she and Frank & their cat lived in an attic apartment in our house. We touched based briefly many years later when I moved back to Rochester with my husband. Then in the past year or so we'd communicate by email now and then. I had warm memories always of Janice and she was a link to my past. My father too had Hodgkin's disease and I know what a battle it must have been for Janice. I was so sorry to hear the news of her passing. I hope to be at the memorial service but if it doesn't work out, please now my thoughts and prayers are with her and Frank and all the family.I shall remember her at our shabbat services this Friday evening. With Deepest sympathy... Ellen
